Hi Gordon,
Yeah, headings are still important to indicate. I should note that this seems
distinct from the headings in Pages, which are read properly and even split
into their own section. I guess they didn’t account for headers in the body
text.
Best,
Zack.

Hi Zack
One thing that doesn’t work at all is headings. If, for instance, you have an
Office document, and it has multi-level headings, VoiceOver does not read them.

improvement.
Kind regards

significant in my view because it will be immediately noticeable. Safari has
some internal bugs—not VO-related exactly, but they do cause some odd VoiceOver
speech on occasion. Over all though, i’d say VO and Sa

If iBooks accessibility is the only reason you are advising people to wait, I
think I will go ahead. Are there other, specific reasons it might be good to
wait?
Are there any positive reasons to update? Does VO work better with the new
Safari?

I haven’t yet had a document in which I can test them. I’ll let you know if I
do.

Hi ALl,
I wanted to write and say that thus far I’ve had very positive impressions of
the new iWork sweet for Mavericks. Tables work seamlessly in Pages, and the
whole system seems more friendly to VoiceOver. I’ve yet to try the other apps
in the sweet, but trust similar progress has been made.
