The key with the question mark is a slash, not a back-slash.

Hi Ian and Others,
Ian asked about sorting by columns in iTunes, and I thought I'd expand on my
answer that mentioned that in order to use the VoiceOver shortcut of

Hi Ian,
On the English language Apple wireless keyboard, the character on the question
mark key is "slash", not "backslash". The "backslash" character is the
rightmost key that is below the "delete" key and above the "return" key. The
actual sort key combination is announced as Control+Option+"
Hi,
thanks, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I have an apple bluetooth
keyboard and the only backslash key I have is with the question mark key.
I interacted with the table of music and pressed the keys I think you mean. It
brings up online help. What do I interact with first and am I
sure. Vo shift cabk slash will do you fine, so hit that, then hit space on the
button you want to sort by. It's a toggle so you will with one press sort down
and the next press sort up. When you choose what you want to sort by hit vo
shift back slash again to stop the process.

Hi Ian,
VO-Shift-backslash works to sort any column of a table, whether you're in
Finder or in iTunes. If you use it again, it will reverse the order of sort.
(On English language keyboards the backslash key is under the delete key.)
Remember to interact.
Cheers,
Esther

Dear all,
When in the music table I was wondering if there was a way to click on the
column headers without using a mouse? I like to sort by date added now and
again, or by artist.
Can anyone give me a keyboard way to do this?
With thanks
Ian
