I have a Tivo, it's the best thing since sliced bread... My wife the
technophobe can't think of living without it.

you. I have not done this before, but want the German channel, so
have to go with Dish, the only System that offers it. Since I don't

I have DirectTV, but you can get dvr with Dish tooyou'd have to check
with them to see what they offer I fairly certain they offer some form
of dvr box, just not sure if it's Tivo

Hmm...I always wondered how that worked. I've got a VCR with commercial
skip that works pretty well. Occasionally it'll miss one, but not too
often.

Thanks for all the info., I am building and want to do some of what you
are suggesting, I don't understand a tenth of it, but Apple rules in
this house and if I can get done what you are imply then I need to find
the back end solution. If you have more to share keep it coming.
