Hi there, first time poster and soon to be Machinekit user. I searched for
this but couldn't find any info.
I have a small CNC driven by Mach3 that I am converting to run Machinekit.
Currently the PC running Mach3 is in a separate box located about 3' from
the control box. I would love to just

You can do the same thing with 'reverse tethering' through the normal USB
interface/cable though.
Never got far enough to make it work, but it looked like it would. Ir's on
my list.

I didn't notice the fdme not sure were the e came from..
Checked my ini file and there is no e on fdm so that looks ok

I have both the power adapter and the USB OTG cable connected and it
works fine. What problem are you having?
