OK, I'll stick with 3.8.
As for the overlays this repo seems to have drop support for 3.8 kernels.
There is no tags or branches for older releases.

Hi,
I just bought a replicape rev B3A and wanted to use it on machinekit and I
ran to several problems.
Does someone has an updated machinekit configuration script to support the
revB? The DAC has been removed (easy fix) but the stepper drivers are
different and the SPI that configure them
