If by "safe," you mean "where they will stick around when I upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6 in 18 months," then I'd say install your own copy of perl somewhere and add your modules to that. perl 5.9 looks like it has some nice features anyway. I haven't tried installing my own copy of perl, but wou
