Stream display to TV wirelessly

I was looking into options for streaming my display to my TV wirelessly. I know that I can connect them via a wire, but I really wasn't interested in doing that. I found this product: http://www.the-home-cinema-guide.com/veebeam-wireless-video-streaming.html which seems to do what I would want

can't play a ripped DVD on network as of 10.6.6

For years, I've ripped DVDs I've bought onto a drive that hangs off my MacPro.  I often play these files over the network.  As of 10.6.6, I'm getting an initialization problem.  But it could be because I removed my optical drive from my MBPro and replaced it with an SSD and while the file is remote
