I've installed gentoo-alt prefix portage and it's fun to compare with
macports. Does anybody know of a port=>ebuild convertor? That would
be even more fun. "Portage: making simlpe things even more
difficult!" :)

The only speed-up I did was as follows: joined all port names with
spaces and ran single command like
