longer on Apple’s
servers (I looked for it a week or two ago). Java 8 and octave currently don’t
work very well with each other (lots of discussion on #octave and the
octave-dev mailing list over the last few weeks). I just have accepted
updating octave-netcdf and octave-spline. I’ve built
octave with -java, and thus the packages build normally on my local machines.

Horst,
The first time running selfupdate after the install takes a long time. This is
expected.

Have you recently upgraded OS X on
/git.hmug.org/index.php/ports/tree/master/lang/php/
I do agree with Ryan that the MacPorts version of apache24-devel is not prime
time yet, as the Portfile needs some clean up before it can replace apache2.

gfortran comes as part of gcc. So if you install gcc49 (current) you’ll have
gfortran.

freecad used to declare +gcc48 as the default variant until

change set deleted fortran related default variants for a number of packages,
we will likely hear about these in the near future.

All make sense, but why are we looking for the mysql5 socket rather than the
mysql56 socket?
The socket should be at
/opt/local/var/run/mysql56/mysqld.sock
See https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/problems-with-mysql-sock.html

Not too surprising: Yos Preview needs Xcode 6.1-Beta, not Xcode 6.0.1 which
only has the 10.
es I run such a script via launchd:
echo "Start $(date)"
/opt/local/bin/port sync
/opt/local/bin/port upgrade outdated
echo "Finish $(date)"
launchd pipes the output to log files so I can inspect the nightly runs from
the Console.
However, I still do port selfupdate manually

HI all,
I’ve been researching https://trac.macports.org/ticket/44199
It seems that the newest files on the MacPorts mirrors are for gnutls version
3.1.x.
Why are the gnutls 3.3.x files not mirrored?
How is mirroring enabled? Is there an issue if the master site is ftp based?

Hi all,
Could someone check in the patch for the octave-communications Portfile?
See

I just installed this using my local tree.
It's only been sitting there for three months...

That's the program-prefix we can see in other GNU ports, e.g.
{core,diff,find}utils.
Anyway, i've made some modifications to this port (mainly
concerning nls support)
and i will file a ticket about it soon.

Vincent,
As the original porter of the gawk and gsed ports, I remember having
a lengthy exchange about naming these two ports.
Regarding gawk:
By default GNU awk is installed as gawk, with awk linking to it:
Saturn:/usr/local/bin marius$ ls -l *awk
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 4 Feb 21
you will be able to install libexif without any problems.
Please try it again later. Thanks.
I was able to install libexif without any trouble. Thanks a lot!
Just one question: am I correct to infer that graphviz is now not
considered a dependency of libexif?
Thanks again,
Artemio
