Hi Mike,
Just use your print option (Command-P) and use item chooser menu to go to the
PDF menu button in the Printer Dialog Window. One of the options will be "Save
as PDF". For more details, see this recent post in the archives:

Hi Randi, why not set up your gmail account in Apple mail? If you're
using a gmail account that is? Gmail works nicely with mail, and it's
a lot easier than having to deal with the webmail. It's your
preference and choice of course, but I'm just saying that in my
opinion it'd be a lot
Hi All:
I've downloaded the latest version of open office and I can't seem to

Any tips and tricks?

Ok found your post using that archive thing. I like reading it here

On the Google Groups web page try using links chooser menu (Command-U)
and looking for a link called "Newer". VO-Space on that and see
whether that helps.

Hi Randi,
You mean you tried to view the Google Groups web site for this list.
I suggested viewing the Mail Archive site that archives this list's
post instead. Mail Archive has access key support. Google Groups
does not. Mail Archive is easier to search -- I can search for list

Well, that didn't work. I view the board in Safari. Not in an email

Hi Randi,
If you're using Safari to move to the next page in the archive it's
Control-N. They use the Control key as the access key. I know that
we talked about Command-N to make a new playlist in iTunes -- don't
get confused with the keys: Control-n to read next post in thread and

Ok I'm going to try command N. I read it online so my inbox doesn't

Geez.

Hi All,
I have installed Windows Vista on my Mac Book, so it is now a dual boot
system. I wonder if anyone has managed to get the context menu to work. I
have found a small App to use the mouse to right click, however, I'd rather
use the keyboard.
Many thanks
Andrew

Hi Randi,
I think you said you read the mail on line, so the answer depends on
what you use to read your mail. But this solution should work for
you. Go to the Mail Archive web site posts:

Hi Chris,
OK, perhaps they have changed things in this version? I just did

Chris, apparently I missed that one or it slipped my mind. So, sure

and actually an easier one than that. Maybe that's a bad thing, it
just makes buying easier. :-)

Hi Randi,
See my instructions about selecting and adding in blocks. Our posts
crossed. You could select and album in the browser, move to the songs
table, select all with Command-A, and then add that to the playlist
with VO-Shift-M. I'll have to check that there isn't a focus glitch

If you can sort the columns so the tracks are all together then you can
use the shift and arrows to group a set of tracks together. Once you
have all the rows selected you can just do a VO-shift-M for the
contextual menu, then choose the Add To Playlist submenu and then right

Hi Randi,
The instructions I sent earlier for creating a playlist (listed below
in the earlier reply) should work. Here's the concept: you can
either create a new blank playlist with Command-N, and do it from
anywhere in iTunes, then move to the songs table and select songs to
add to it

Nice. Well I've mastered creating playlists and moving stuff to them.
The only thing I didn't figure out was how to move a whole album to a
playlist. Example, I created a classical list, and moved 50 Essential
pieces of classical music, one by one. It was good practice, but for
future, is there a

Is there something you can do with this?
Actually I haven't seen this with other players I've tested.

Hmm. So I created a new Writer document and typed four sets of sentences
(paragraphs) with a blank line inbetween. I then cursored up and left
until I was at the beginning of the first sentence. I then did a shift
down arrow a bunch of times and was able to select (and copy) all four
paragraphs
Good one, Chris

I'm sure this will make sense eventually haha. So, to create my own
playlist, can you walk me through where I start from and what command
to do? Is it in the sources menu? And then VO shift B? And, I know

Esther, thanks, that was what I had wrong. I had forgotten in which
column to use the VO key sequence. ONce I used VO+\ in the album
field, it put the tracks in their proper order.

Actually you can do both, but I just find VO+shift+m easier since I
don't have to arrow to the price. The shopping cart approach is great
because I load mine up with dozens of albums and then go back later to
determine if I really wanted it or not and it is also a way for me to
