For english speaking Ipod touch owners, there are actually two voices
to choose from. One is Samantha, who starts speaking by default.
However, there is another more pleasant sounding Australian female
voice. I think its Karen.

Hi list,
Just wondering if anyone got the new growl for snow leopard, and if it
does something better than tell you that a new window is open

I have got this as well. I've never tried this as I realized I do not
like having cords attached to me and the computer while on my mac.
But, try going into the voiceover utility and go to sounds. Then
uncheck the Enable positional audio. You can click on the help button
there and it s

I read good general reviews for elgato EyeTV Hybrid on a couple sites.
I'm thinking about getting one once I can squeeze $135 into my budget.

There is a TV tuner for the Mac. It's from Pinnacle. The product is called the

Hello to the list
I'm wondering if anyone has tried any TV Tuner devices and
corresponding software with Snow Leopard?
One very popular device and software is called EyeTV, but there are
others as well, they present program guides and allow you to turn the
Mac into a personal video recorde
Hi,
Well, I have no clue why you can't access the menus with either CTRL-
F2 or VO-M. Both work for me when I'm either in the machine library or
running a virtual machine.

Hi list,
Has anyone tried using parallels 4 with a windows xp or even windows 7
installlation and jaws?
I know parallels 4 is pretty new, it just that is what is being used at
work for a virtual machine and if I could use jaws with it I would save
myself a lot of time.
