In Mail Preferences, select your Gmail account and uncheck the checkbox that
says something like "Keep Copy of Drafts on Server," or something to that
effect. That will solve the problem.

If you are using Gmail, that is not surprising. I have also seen this on
occasion and although I do not have an answer based on verifiable fact, I would
have to say it has something to do with Gmail's implementation of imap and how

Have you tried deleting the .plist file for the Firewall? This will force the
Fire Wall to revert back to it's original setting, which on my machine was
"off" - go figure.
