Thank you, Kawal.
I think the Chooser is definitely the proverbial ticket.

Honestly,
programming has a very broad scope. If you're really interested in programming,
study the whys, that whats and the what for's before trying to figure out the
hows. There are a lot of basics to learn and once you've learned those, you can
really pick and choose a path to take. Accessib

Hi Chris,
I'd say try DVD Remaster. I use it on a regular basis and I love it. It will
convert the DVDs to DVD documents, mp4, or the audio to wav. I did a podcast on
it at:

I hope that helps.

Hi guys,
I'm looking for an accessible dvd ripper that will turn the dvd into an Divx
avi or xvid or something. Ripping to mp4 would be ok. I want to continue the
work I started in windows a long time ago. I want to digitize all of my dvds.
Thanks.

I now read my messages in threaded view as I prefer it.
However I have one question.
Once you have replied to a message your message appears at the end of all the

Hello all.
There is a new version of iTunes out and it is 9.2.1.
I haven't seen any accessibility improvements and there are none mentioned.
This update however, seems to be a bit snappier for some reason.
Thanks.

Hi Mark.
I learnt a new stroke the other day which helped me to deal with system alerts.
Please correct me someone if this is wrong as I've not been using the Mac very
long.
Would command f1 f1 twice help mark with his alerts? It's the chooser.
Kawal.

Well I have been using WIndow-Eyes under VMWare for a while now and I have not
had any problems with sluggishness since 7.1/2. I primarily use this
arrangement for some course work that requires I use windows, but no issues
otherwise.

Hello, in my virtual machine I do use window eyes. Issues that I experience so

With Windoweyes you'd only need to remap one of the option keys to be a context
key although it isn't absolutely necessary. Other than that it works fine (at
least with Xp).

Hi,
I've seen many people are using Windows VMs under Fusion -- it's great
to see virtualisation aiding accessibility.
Most people seem to be using Jaws though, anyone using Window Eyes in
a Fusion VM? If so any comments on any issues? I presume for
starters I'd need do some key mapping.

Hi Teresa.
I can not find a way for that either. I have suggested apple to make, so we can
add other hotkeys than specific voiceover keys.
Best regards Annie.

I will try the pressing Enter+Control key, to open a link in a new
tab, then closing the tab will get me back to I was previously. I
will also send an email to apple about this problem. I do navigate

Just to clarify. Either Bootcamp or VMWare will run Jaws and the like

Webkit nightly is intended for developers so they force the home page to
theirs which has information about the latest builds and such. While
they might have some hackery to get around this it might just be easier
to hit command-shift-h to jump to your home page.
