I'm not sure how you actually turned it off. Usually, turning the iSight
camera off in one app does not affect its status in other apps. I believe that
it is off by default when in Skype and you need to click the camera on button.
In ichat, you can turn it on and off via the video menu.

I set the recordings, manage season passes, to do lists, etc from the Tivo
site. I have my shows organized in folders which appear in alphabetical order.
The Tivo provides beeps, and other audio feedback as you arrow up and down

I have never had any trouble with imap, but then again, I have a very fast
internet connection and a fully loaded MBP. Of course, I never had imap trouble
on my very old Windows desktop either.

Make sure your router doesn't automatically start redistributing your net bios
traffic.
User authentication is pretty useless if the ports are open so you want to make
sure you have a router and the firewall options are set blocking traffic from

You have to import the song in to Quicktime, once you record what you want,
there are the share options you spoke if. Once the file is in QT the share
options should not be dimmed.

I really like nisus writer pro. It is a great program, that reads a lot of
formats, it is maybe a little slow, but it is great with VoiceOver. I can
recommend the program.

Just curious. I've been looking around in iMovie, but can't seem to figure out
how one actually records. I assume you begin by opening a new event? What
then? I don't see any buttons that let you do this, though there are several
that are unlabeled.

there's a nice technique for taking pictures that any blind person can learn.
just take the digicam and hold the back of it to your forehead and then listen
for where your target is. if you hold pretty level, you can achieve some pretty
good shots. at least this is how I do it. I also use a helm
