My iMac won't sleep

Hi. For some reason, my iMac will no longer go to sleep if left on. It wil if I select sleep, but not on its own. In system preferrences, under users and log in, I only have growl, an apple helper from iTunes, I think, and dropbox. I have my power saver settings at default. Any ideas what happen

Looks like I spoke too soon on the busy problem. I was able to access the drive about four times, and then I started getting busy busy again. But it must be something that's going into that preference file. There is a second com.finder file that is a unix executable. Any idea what that one does

I think you need to be in disk utility. The toolbar, I believe, is hidden, so you might have to reveal it. Then, there is a burn button in the toolbar. As long as you have the disk image selected from the drive list and a blank disk in the optical drive, you should be good to go. Take Ca
