Hi,
Are you sure its not recording? I mean, have you actually tried to record
yourself then play it back or, are you just talking into the mic and not
hearing yourself through your headphones? If this is the case, thats because
monitoring is turned off by default on real tracks. You need to
Hi,
I've tried to create a document with Google using Safari and VO on my Mac. At
first I clicked on Using Screenreader. My first impression: that's not funny.
I got no responds of what I wrote and there was no real edit field to write
text in.
But maybe I'm not enough used to it and there
Hi everyone.
I am interested in downloading files from binary newsgroups. I to use agent on
my Windows machines, and was wondering if there was a feature-rich and
accessible newsreader for the Mac. Thanks so much.

How do I tell time machine to automatically do backups?
When I look in preferences, it looks like that option is turned off.
How do I change this?
Thanks for any help.

Wow! Is usenet even still around? As far as a client, and one that supported
offline reading, Heleme was the best with VO. Sadly, it's no longer available,
there was one called OSXnews too iirc.

Hi all,
How well does the chess app on the mac work with vo? If not well, are
there any apps that do work? I am new to the game, but it would be
good practice if I could use the mac to play against the computer. I
have the Shredder app on my iPod, but the screen is quite small and
flicking does
Stacey,
As far as I can remember, there is an off and on button in the time machine
preference window. Make sure to click the on button. Before you do, check that
the lock to prevent further changes is not on. Yo You will find it on the right
side.
Hope this will help.
Good luck

I'll bare it in mind but personally I would rather the website be fixed if you

Hi, not sure who the developer is, but I believethere's an app called
unison, that you can use for this. I don't subscribe to any of these news
groups, so have not tried it for accessibility.

Hi all, have just been playing around with pages and the only thing I can't

Its as simple as that and yet it just won't happen for me!

Hi, when using Pages, when you save a file that you want to be in .doc format,
the best thing to do is go to export, then choose Microsoft Word format.
When you open the document back up and make changes to it, you can then save

As far as I know, having been trounced soundly by my Macbook Pro on multiple
occasions, the Chess app works just fine with VO. I'm, actually, planning to
set up a board next to the laptop pay more attention next time, by echoing
the moves in the real tactile world.
Good luck,

That's what I never understood. As a blind person, with a physical board, how
are we to get a visual layout of the on-screen board?
And yes, the Chess app is very accessible, what what I remember. You can even
set it up to read the computer's moves automatically.
On Jul 7, 2012, at 4:59 PM,
You can move up, down, left, and right to get an idea of the visual layout.
This doesn't give you diagonal information, but it makes the game very
playable.

Hi all,
Does anyone have any tips for using track changes, for inserting them and for,
more importantly, reading the changes others have made? This will be very
important for work with my future students.
Thanks,
