Hello everyone. I have Windows 7 64 bit installed in a boot camp partition and
it worked for a while. Now when I try to boot into Windows I get a black
screen. However I can see the partition and my data. Have any of you ever
experienced this behaviore? If so, how did you fix this?

It depends on your setup. When you get to the boot manager screen, there are a
line of icons, one for each bootable partition. Usually, from left to right
they are Mac HD, then the Recovery HD if you don't have any other bootables on
the system. When you bootcamp, a third icon for Windows is add

press and hold the option key.
Then right erow and it will work.

I attempted a repair of the HD in the recovery menu, but will again. The

Maybe a permissions repair executed from the recovery partition might help.
That is, if you actually don't have a full HD, though it is being reported
as such.

I have begun reading the documentation, and there in lies my problem. I'm
unable to get bootcamp assistant to create a windows partition on the hard

this error is occurring. Due to my research, I thought partitioning the

Hi all,
It's just past midnight in my part of the world, and that means the start of
Christmas day. I'd just like to wish everyone on the list a very, very merry

Hi all,
Relating to my earlier post about bootcamp and it saying the hard disc doesn't
have enough space to be partitioned, will it work if I partition my hard disc?

Hey podcasters.
So I have been publishing podcasts regularly with wordpress on htn2.com.
I just tried to post our 39th episode and did everything the same as I

I write up the post then embed the link into it.

If you're talking about the recovery partitionscreen that you get to by

Don't think you can get VO to speak at the boot menu. Pressing option allows
you to select a start-up disk but during that time only the basic kernel is

Best option would be command plus r for recovery, maybe then you could try and

I read somewhere that there's a way of converting Kindle books on the
PC into text by using some python scripts.
Has anyone tried it?
How does it work?
Cheers,
