Just a quick update on MacBook Pro in recovery mode. Got 10.82 to reinstall off
an external hard drive. It's working fine now. Thanks Georgina and Tim, and
anyone else who had ideas on resolving this issue. Have a good one, all.

Hi,
The cmd-option-v command for "Moving" files is only available within the
Finder. If you use cmd-option-v elsewhere, it will likely perform other
actions It's kind of like the command set only available within the File

Thanks a lot. This way does seem fairly logical. I have from my school a

would work nicely with the booksense, and wound up just coppying and

Hi there
Actually, what's really weird, is that there is command ex. I use it for paste
to move messages from one folder in mail to another. I suppose I could use
option command V as well, but command X works. However, I found that command
index does not work all situations. I have no ideal why.

It's command-option-v to move, which replaces command-v for simply pasting a
copy.

Oh, I reckon it's a connection to server error. What makes me think that is
that the same thing's happening to me. "Dictation failed" is what I got.
The way I figure it, it's an issue at Apple's end.

Hi,
After you press cmd-c to Copy the file, you must press cmd-option-v to Move it.
Note that you add the option key to the normal cmd-v (Paste) command to
perform the Move action.

Hi there
No, the move command does not use the shift key at all. The command for it is
option command V as in victory. All the other steps are fine.

Hi Rich,
If you are on either the table, or the text Edit field, you can use VO +J to
jump to the HTML content area, and in there, you can review the messages. You
can also in their play voice messages you've received. I also believe, that you
can accept file transfers in there.
Warm regards,
When you find the conversation with the person in the main table, Navigate
all the way to the right. YOu will find an HTML area that is the conversation
history with the person. YOu should also find an edit box for typing back or
just use control-option-j to jump to it.
