I like transmit. It's gui. You have to pay for it. On the surface it may
seem overkill for your needs but actually it will support sftp which is a huge
advantage for securing your passwords and data.

It comes with a wall charger, and you can find them pretty much all over the

I have now you've alerted me to the option. It still hasn't helped

In my experience with Sound Studio, holding down the 1 and 2 keys will rewind
and fast forward continuously through a file. Marks are set with the m key.
Option plus left and right arrow jump from mark to mark. adding shift to option
left and right arrow selects the audio that is in between

I haven't had this problem, but sighted assistance isn't necessary to power
down and then power up the Mac.
All you need do is press and hold the power button for five seconds or so,
and the Mac will shut down. Wait a good thirty seconds and then press the
button again to power up

I agree that sound studio is very easy to use. Robert helped me a lot when I
started and what he said in his email works for me too.
