Macs can read NTFS drives, but they can't write to them. For writing, if this drive will be used between both Windows and Mac, you'll want FAT32. For only Macs, use the Mac OS Extended (journaled) format instead. Note that FAT32 drives cannot handle files larger than 7gb as far as I know. Sent
