There are too many instances of this in Sierra to list them all. Most annoying is the one when you close Finder, VO will repeat whatever its focused on 3 times. Closing any other app does not do this. Also at login I hear "Authentication has new window" twice. From E.T.'s Keyboard. . .

Hi EAT, According to last time I spoke to Apple tech support they said the "Authentication has new window" bug was to be fixed in the near future! What ever that is! :) The one I'm getting is when you go to a site VO keeps saying % loaded and again % loaded starting at around 80% and going up! T

It's just making sure you heard it. Like those PA announcements when they just say the name once, you're always wondering who they actually called. YOU'll know for sure that the download has finished, that you're in the Login window etc. There's probably some subliminal messaging in there too

I disabled my guest account and then switched on file vault again. It actually gave me a warning message that voice over won't be working at the logon screen and that I'll have to use The beeps, it also explained how the beeps work. When I restarted, voiceover actually sort of worked at the logo
