How to install Apple's MacBook Pro CPU throttling software fix
A new MacOS update promises to fix the issue plaguing new MacBook Pro
laptops.

The newest MacBook Pro laptops from Apple offer a lot of updates under the
hood, from high-end Intel Core i9
The order you do things in may matter. It did for me. What worked best
was to install the Bootcamp mediated Windows first. After that I resized
my apfs partition to leave enough freespace for the ExFAT partition.

Hello Everyone,
I am posting the following article not because it is Apple-related but
because I believe it to be of interest to all of us in this particular
community.
If interested, I strongly recommend that you read the piece in its entirety
as it pertains to all of us, not just those with
Oh that beats a story from a friend of mine.
His daughter recorded him snoring once and well... now she does the same
when he phones her.

I agree. Also, I think most of the canned ringtones are too short. I like
having control over the length, the content, and all that.

This is not just about money so far as I’m concerned; the “Canned Ring Tones”
frequently are an unwanted snippet cut from a song (or other source) whereas
I’d much rather use a different snippet from the same source.
For example, a song named “Don’t Tell Mama I’ve Been Drinkin’” by Alan Jackson
OK, I was curious to see if this still worked. It doesn't. Something must have
changed, I'm guessing in High Sierra. I cannot get the new ringtone to import
into iTunes. Pity. It seems like they've taken something that should be
ridiculously easy and made it complicated. Guess they want us
I’ve had to resort to the old VO dash and plus for volume since my function
keys have suddenly started bringing up mission control. I did not make any
changes and have no memory of how this was changed. Help would be appreciated.

The following information is important for all
It is.
1. In iTunes, highlight the song you want.
2. From the File Menu choose show in Finder.
3. Copy the file to your desktop.
4. Rename it, so you don't accidentally screw up your original file.
5. Open the desktop file in iTunes.
6. Press CMD-I then options.
7. Mark off the start and end
In what app do you do this?
Sounds simple enough.

In the past, I've just taken songs I wanted to use as ringtones, marked off the
30 seconds I wanted to use as a ringtone, saved it to my desktop, changed the
file extension to M4R, and hit cmd-O. It works like a charm.

Hi Simon,
Thanks. I'm leaning toward Fusion, because I like the idea of being able to
switch back and forth. I'm curious, though. Since the laptops don't have an
Insert key, what do you use for the JAWS key?
Thanks,
Donna

This is interesting,
As for default ring tones on your iPhone,
I think I've got one of the best default tones you can get, at least in my
world.
It's confused a number of people already.
I use the Nokia default ring tone,
That way I know it's my iPhone x ringing

Only one I'm having reall issues with is the caps lock for jaws key
If ET you have info on how to deal with this I'd appreciate what you can tell
me.

Hi Donna,
It's really up to what you need to be able to do.
I've got 2 mac book devices
A 2013 air and a brand new mac book pro 13.
On my air I have windows 10 running in boot camp and it is my primary machine
as I use windows primarily for most things.
On my mac book pro I've just setup
