Hello list,
My husband bought me a rather obscure double CD recently and I wanted to be
able to read the very extensive information in the enclosed booklet. The print
is very tiny, pale on a dark background and printed over photos of landscapes.
To complicate matters further, some of the songs a

Yours truly is on her second Brother multi function device in the last

certain I'll just get another Brother.

Hello Simon,
Hmm! It never occurred to me that the number row on the Apple Keyboard may
double as function keys. If so, I have not yet discovered how to make this
happen. I tried pressing them in combination with the function key, located on
the lower-left corner of the device but, as yet, n
If you have the Smart Keyboard from apple that costs 192 bucks after tax, that
button in the lower left corner is not a function key, it is the key to toggle
between keyboards, like English French, and emoji. That keyboard is not worth
the money, yes it has smart connecter and you don’t need ba

I have a 2013 iMac with 8 GB of ram and a 1 TB HD and have auto login enabled

Hello Kliff,
Ah! Thank you for explaining that key on the lower-left corner of the device.
No wonder it did not convert the number row to function keys.

Hi,
My understanding is that if you're using an app that supports the function
keys, such as an RDP app, then the Globe key does change the numbers to F keys.
Regular iOS apps do not support the F1-F12 functions, so that feature is
deemed unnecessary for the most part. Now, as media keys and
Hi,
The iMacs with an HD have a 5400 RPM HD which is rather frustrating to me. You
have all the power and RAM required to have a really quite amazing machine, but
the 5400 RPM drive is like putting a 4 cylinder engine into a full size pickup.

Hi,
Can someone give me a pointer on how to dial digits after a call is
connected if I'm using Facetime on the Mac? Apple support indicates you
should just be able to type the extra digits but that doesn't seem to
work.Do I need to get VO focus into a certain area?

Hi everybody,
I bought a Series 4 Apple Watch today and have it up and running. I was
wondering if there were any sources for good documentation so that I can get
all the ins and outs of the product. Since the watch appears to be fully

There is actually an inexpensive book available through national braille press
that was written specifically with voiceover in mind. It was written by Anna

To accomplish this, when the FaceTime call connects, the Notification Centre

Hi again,
Sorry for bringing this subject up again.
I mentioned that iTunes doesn’t always recognise some of the CDs I have.
However I put a CD in the drive this morning and it told me that iTunes didn’t
recognise the CD, so I removed it from the drive and put it back in again.
Suddenly iTunes
Ok. Forgot to ask earlier, how do you connect a printer to wifi? Is
this an accessible process? Also, should I consider a Bluetooth printer?

Hi,
In my experience, Wi-Fi printers are not accessible for initial set up.
Regarding Bluetooth printers, I have no real experience with them, although,
you may have the same frustrations with them during set up as you would with a
Wi-Fi printer.

Hi,
I don’t think that it’s normal, but it’s not really uncommon. What is likely
happening is that the CD is having a hiccup when it is reading the CD DB
information at the header of the CD. By putting it in the next time, it must
have got a better read.

Hi Tim,
Yeah probably dust!
They still make cleaning cd's to clean the CD/DVD burner out there.
Also the cd it self could have some "schmutz" on it which usually can be
cleaned.

Hi Tim and Chuck,
Thank you, yes I wouldn’t be surprised if the discs are dusty as they have been
in storage for a while. I will keep a soft cloth handy for cleaning the CDs
before I put them in the DVD drive. The drive should be clean as it is new.
