Hello Ricardo,
If you don't mind, could you please briefly detail the software setup you use
to record your podcasts? What is your technique to capture sounds both from
your mic (which sounds like a Blue Snowball) and your system audio?
Thanks in advance for your info.
Cheers,

Becky,
I went hunting on the App Store to see if something would fit the description
of what you-re looking for. I found an app that claims to have recently
improved its VoiceOver support and I purchased it to give it a try.
It's only $0.99, so if you want to have a look, here is the link:

, although 4g is a tremendous progress on cellular broadband, it will still
add on latency when compared to landlines or cable connections. If you use
Skype or any other VoIP service provider, it's most certainly not recommended.

Thanks for the clarification!
I thought FS had stopped maintaining a live cd version of Jaws or something
along those lines.

Moderators, I apologize if this may be drifting away from the original purpose
of the list. Let me know and I can move this elsewhere. I do not intend to
conduct the management of the project through the list, obviously. :)

You can list all your attached / mounted volumes by typing the following
command in Terminal:
ls /Volumes/
Make sure you either use an escape character or put your destination volume in
between quotes if your destination volume name contains spaces.

Hello,
The flanger is applied to a human voice, not a voice synthesizer, unfortunately.
I think the Nuance voices are a pretty good deal and rather advanced... I just
regret that none of the voices on the Mac are able to provide a suitable
intonation for exclamations.

Well guys, I don't think it's going to happen on iOS devices unfortunately, but
I think there is a will and a way for it to happen on the Mac.
The only way I see it happening on iOS would be through a Jailbreak and I'm not
sure it would be worth it.

Hi listers,
I hope this message does not offend anybody allergic to Windows.
The version of ETI Eloquence bundled with Jaws on Windows has always been my
favorite voice synthesizer. I used to be able to listen (read) thousands and
thousands of pages without ever getting tired of it. The intonat

If you are referring to the alternative app Ed Worrell recommended, it's called

I got the app for only $20, on sale on the App Store. I
bought the hardware interface in Switzerland for approx. $250.

The app lets you pick an output device for everything sent to SoundFlower.
That will allow you to have VO speaking both through your speakers and
simultaneously transmitted over Skype via SoundFlower.

Thanks for this...
I will investigate ProTools.
What's Apple's course of thinking? We are good enough to experiment with
Garageband, but not enough to play in the pro field?

Hi there,
In my case, Open Office lost quite a bit of accessibility with VoiceOver in
Lion. Moving with the arrow keys inside a text document without using VO cursor
won't work, making it very unpractical to read long pieces of documents.
Pages is kind of alright. I used it until recently to wor
