Hi Mark, I use YouTube TV on my iPhone and I use Google home to cast whatever shows that I want on YouTube TV. So I’m assuming if it’s excessive on the iPhone it is excessive on Apple TV I do have an Apple TV but I haven’t tried it I’ll let you know after I try it. Hope this helps let me know
