Get the version 4.
Period.
The camera is ENORMOUSLY better and if you are planning on using it for any
scanning application at all, you'll want it.

We demo'd Digit-Eyes using the BrailleNote at the ACB convention and it was
easy to set up.
To connect the BrailleNote with bluetooth and assuming that the BrailleNote
has bluetooth active, try this
a) on the iPhone select settings ->general -> accessibility ->VoiceOver
(make sure it is on)
b)
The iPhone does not use ordinary glass. The surfaces are a product that is
called 'gorilla glass' that is made by Corning. The glass is probably tougher
than the steel. For an example, look at the YouTube feature titled 'will it
blend' in which a 4 is put in a blender. The glass is one of th
your phone.

Hi Everyone,
There seem to be a bunch of different issues on this thread and I'll try to
answer all of them, but if I miss something, please bring it up.
First, it is possible to use a laser scanner with the digit-eyes website if
you have something like the metrologic.
Second, if you have a spe
better in getting a capture
when the item is moving away from it. So we recommend starting by holding
(say) the bottom of the box close to the camera and then moving it away from
the camera until you get the beep that indicates that a capture has been
made.
