For the first time in a long time I am trying to read a braille book on a
braille display. I downloaded a book from BARD and my display acts like it is
not there. How do I unzip the book on the Mac? I forget..

I am considering purchasing a Braille Edge. Is there anyone on this list using

I decided, in what seemed like a moment of brilliant insight, to reorganize my

Good morning. Is anyone else having difficulty with braille screen input? The
dots are not in the appropriate places, even when I calibrate the screen with
my right hand, followed by my left hand. I get dots 1 2 3 4 and 5 but not 6,
or 1 2 4 5 6 andd no 4. The mysterious thing is, it has not
I have never been able to efficiently read the body of an email message and it
is very annoying.
The only way I can read the text is to down arrow a couple of times and then

I am trying to move a message from one mailbox to another. I can find "Move To"
in the menu and have created a keyboard shortcut for it. Once that is found,
how do I actually move the message? I guess the better question is how do I get
to the desired mailbox and have the message follow me there
I have apparently messed up some kind of setting. I often go into safari,
either by opening the browser myself or via a link in an email, and access an

I hate to acknowledge this but I am old enough to be applying for Medicare. On
the Social Security site the very first question offers two selections:
1. I am applying for myself and
2 I am helping someone else.
I cannot select one. I have tried spacebar, VO spacebar and enter but to no
avail.
One thing i still struggle with on the Mac is how to read an alert dialog. For
instance, I was on the gmail web site and wanted to delete a mailbox label. I
clicked on "remove label" and heard, "alert dialog..."
I am sure it was a dialog box to confirm yes/no about deleting, but I could not

No such problem here with my 6S Plus. When I really want an immersion into
music I use actual ear phones, not the Apple ear bud, and phone sounds great.

George, if you are able too get to an Apple store, go and try them all and see
what works for you. I bought a 6S plus because I like the Braille input apps .
With the larger phone I feel my hands are in a more natural position to enter
Braille. I know this is not what you asked about, but I als
I like this gesture. It enables you to move from app to app without wearing

I am using several Keyboard commander's which I have created. They do not,
however, work when I am in Safari, even if they are Safari specific. I am using
a MacBook air and the latest version of El Capitan. Does anyone have any idea
why these keyboard commanders would not working safari? If not,
Christina, if you are interacting with the table, try VO function left arrow to
