Hi, the way I do it is I press the BOM key twice This gets me into the status
menu. I then use the left and right arrows to walk through the items, and one
of them is battery level. It will give you the percentage and whether it’s
charging or not. Hope this helps.

Yes you can upgrade from 4s and up. Some features may not be available such as

I have found that for me after interacting with the album grid, navigating
using the arrow keys opens the albums which you can then tab across as usual.

Two things you can do. 1) Try vlc it plays all my avi's. Also you may try
getting quicktime to search for items that will be able to play. I use one
called divix plus that I got through asking for quick times recommendations.

The Brailliant is pretty good, I like the braille. This is however the first
display I've owned myself and had access to for more than a half hour or so.

certain types of behavior and didn't get what I had expected:).
It did take me about 4 or 5 days to embrace the differences and find new w
lots of snappiness improvements with vo as far as when you upgrade from
leopard. In snowy it's also possible to lable controls with a hotkey that
escapes me for now. Handy when you have a fairly accessible app and no labels
on some controls.

It may just be what we aren't used to, five fingered gestures seem foreign
now. HOwever, it wasn't too too long ago that using a touch screen for the
blind was also way out in left field:) smiles.
