Hello,
Well, I don’t know what to say other than that my boes headphones with 3.5 mm
jack work just fine while installing windows 10 on my MBP mid 2014. While the
laptop speakers don’t work till windows comes up with the drivers, for some
reason the 3.5 mm connector works just fine.

Yeah I would have thought it would have to be a USB a device of some sort as
audio not installed is a problem I have with servers being setup but USB
speakers work fine for me.

The speakers builtin on a Mac laptop will not work in Windows until the
drivers they require are installed. That hasn't happened at the point
Windows is being installed.
In fact, you may find you need to use a USB headphone or speaker, not
just some headphone plugged into the headphone jack. That
Thanks, Dan. This is a rather useful and important finding. Ordinarily,
one would expect using the latest release is the way to go. But, it
seems that isn't always the case, as it seems it wasn't this time.
I presume that once you installed, you were able to upgrade the the
later Windows 10
Hi,
Yep, just use 3.5 mm headphone and connect it to the output jack.

The speakers will not work till Windows is in the final setup faze, where you
enter your account name and the like.
Yes, you can connect headphones directly to the 3.5 jack.
After windows takes over from boot camp, after several minutes, just activate

Concerning the use of headphones during the windows installation, is there any
special adaptation for these headphones? That is, is it just a matter of
plugging in headphones into your MacBook airs speaker jack, or are they USB
headphones of some sort? And, why do we need to use headphones at
Hello,

Hi Janina and list,
First off. Thanks about answering the question regarding the product key.
That's what I thought but wanted to be sure.
Ok, here goes.
It's all about the correct iso. I was using the latest iso, the october
release. Even though I thought about running the April iso, I didn't
Your product key will register you and your machine with Microsoft. So,
should you need to reinstall on the same machine, this will just be
handled for you in the background.
By the way what was the resolution to your earlier failures? Tell us a
little of how that got resolved, please.

Like you can’t change your wall paper, but I think that’s about it.
