I have kind of a strange situation with the Logitech 811 keyboard with my iMac.
It switches between devices fine and I find it very comfortable to type on.

Sounds like you received a Windows keyboard and seven Apple keyboard. The
windows keyboards have the option and the windows key switched over so that
causes an issue. I believe there's a setting within the keyboard settings to

No, that isn't the problem; at least I don't think so. Voiceover works fine and
that wouldn't be the case if option were switched and I don't think it would
cause the function keys to be switched but to work fine with the fn key.

I misunderstood what you meant. You are stating that the function keys perform
multimedia / brightness and not F or vice versa? There is an option in keyboard
settings to control this for apple computers, I have no idea if it takes effect
for other vendors' keyboards.

Download the logitech control pannel. You can change things from there.

Yes, my issue was that the function keys without fn work as standard keys with
my Apple Wireless keyboard and IOGear mini bluetooth keyboards but the opposite
with my logitech 811. This was to the extent that even voiceover on and off
would work only with the fn key. The Logitech Preferences
