Hi, too bad this is only for US currency right now. Canadians have a stand alone bill reader which we can get for free, but I like LookTel. They do a lot of things right. I'd buy it just to support them, especially if it isn't breaking the bank. Have fun, Erik Burggraaf User support

Hi Sarah, I tried out this app. It's really fast on an iPhone 4. My guess is that it works this fast because it's optimized for U.S. currency only. If the camera stays on, it can process a series of images taken at slightly different positions to reconstruct the full image of the bill.
