You download the daisy format, which comes as a zip or bks2 file. Open that and
the mac will unzip it automatically. Now open Olearia, hit cmd-o, and go to the
folder into which the mac unzipped the daisy files. Select either of the two

Hi. I installed olearia some time ago and at the time it seemed to work fine.
recently it comes up asking if i want to check for updates. no matter what i
select, the app crashes. Are there any alternatives to playing daisy books on
the mac? Or does anyone have a clue how i can fix this app

Just a quick note on Olearia. We developed this application a few years back
when there wasnt much available for OSX. Due to our other research commitments
(we are a research group not a company) we have not really done anything more
with it, however we hope one day to revive it. Olearia is

I am the developer of Olearia, for those that don't know it is a talking book
player
built for mac OSX.
It plays 2.02, 2002, 2005 format books if both text only and Full Text Full
Audio, it should play full text partial audio but I have not come across any
of these books yet.

Hello. There is a mac Daisy reader called Olaria. I thought it it
supported Bookshare books, so I downloaded it and tried it on a
Bookshare book I just downloaded. Whenever I try to open the
Bookshare book with Olaria, a dialog box pops up that says that the
book is missing an audio fil
