2009 model and the other recently purchased, I can tell you that I have never
lost Message Column item focus in Mail when in Standard View.
Rarely do I use Classic view, anymore, so cannot comment on
This doesn't happen to me. I'm curious if you interact with the messages table
or not. I don', so if you do, it might be worth trying it without interacting.
