Yes it is. The closest we get is Nearby explorer online, and i don’t think it
has turn-by-turn instructions and it might not even be available for iOs.
In my not so humble opinion, Sweden is like a third world country when it comes
to good navigation software and apps for busses and the like. Tra

True, it isn't exact. But it beats hell out of thinking you're where you need
to be and where you really are is at the beginning of a big parking lot.

Even when one sets a specific point (BlindSquare has the same feature), it will

conditions. That said, GPS will get one into the area, and usually w
Hi Jonathan,
The problem you are describing is one that all of the GPS programs have,
because the point that they are looking at is not the door, but some other

I have been considering Blind Square for the past 6 months, but was not sure
about if accuracy was sufficient. Transit and MoveIt transit services work in
my area, and generally my Guide Dog gets me to places I have been before with
little difficulty. However when there is a restaurant I read ab
Is there a way to turn off POI’s in Maps when using this «treacking with

How do you attempt to find POI’s around your area using apple maps? I’ve found
that option using the roter, but can’t figure out what to do after that, and
sometimes stuff just pops up if I’ve resumed a route I’m on that I closed out
of, where it shows me surounding streets, locations are ound
Hi Mark,
I agree with your thoughts on maps and it's general usage.
I used it on xmas eve for navigating my way around a city I hadn't been in for
5 years and has undergone major changes due to earthquake damage,
Maps as you said spoke route information and intersection / crossing details

Hi Mark,
Apple is using many more sources for map and POI data. I just read through the
list.
I have been using Maps primarily for the type of walking you described for a
few years now. I also use BlindSquare for the same purpose, but maps is often
more accurate.
As for POIs, I submitted a bu

I'm in a car, but I turn them back on when I walk. I'll have to try that
tomorrow with Maps. I've been wary of that app since the initial problem
with wrong data in the mapping.
