Thanks, Alex. I will try these things tonight. Hopefully it'll work.

That message has appeared for me, I believe. Try simply restarting the phone
and, if that fails, forget the Brailliant in bluetooth settings. If you still
have no luck, you could try a network settings reset, which will wipe out all
bluetooth, wifi, and VPN profiles and settings.

I was able to pair it with my Braille Edge.

Hi all,
I updated to iOS 7 recently and tried to pair it with my Humanware
Brailliant, but my iPhone says that the device isn't supported.
Does anyone know anything about this? Any issues with any other braille
displays? (I tried searching online, but got nothing.)
Thanks!

Hello Jessi,
If you find your PM 40 a bit temperamental, try reassigning the
various functions. I set my PM 20 to use a press of the right whiz
wheel to move right along the line, and a press of the left whiz wheel
to move right. That way, its behaviour is much more stable.
Cheers,
Anne
Hi,
I hate being muted, ... Lol.
Anyways, ... I think they released an update to fix FS's problems with
the PM 40 Braille Display.

oh man I'm always disabling that highlight line!! makes reading s
hard!! I wish it would remember not to display that, lol. I find also
sometimes if I'm reading a long email or something, I'll only be able
to read so far into it with the braille display before it won't
display anything
Aside from a few issues (mainly VO's inability to remember braille
settings across multiple sessions - like whether or not to display
that obnoxious highlight line) braille is quite effective and neat.
Some things aren't intuitive - I can't click on a member of a group
in while browsing a webpage
really? I just plugged my pm40 display in and it worked right away.
the quality of the braille display is another topic for another day,
lol, but the fact that it works is a good thing!!
peace and positivity

Hi,
I use the PM 40 from FS. I don't know what I did to get it
working, ... but it took a while. It is a little finicky, ... But it
works.

Hey VO gurus!
I am wanting to play with and learn more about the refreshable
braille display features of VoiceOver. I understand it's basics and
am assuming that the display will show the same thing the VoiceOver
Dialogue box shows. I am trying to upgrade my annual presentation to
13 matches
