Hi,
I don't think Safari can be removed. To reset, open safari and go to the
Safari menu in the menu bar. Here you will find the option to reset safari.

The reason I don't think it's internet-specific is because she has wireless and
her PC loads pages more quickly. If Safari could be removed and re-installed,
I'd like to give that a shot.

Hi,
How does one reset Safari? Can it actually be removed and re-installed? If

It could be a number of things, but I won't go through a list of reasons. It
could be an Internet issue, also resetting Safari and clearing out the cache
could assist in solving issues. Hope this assists anyone who may need it in the
future.
God bless,

Well, it happens often which makes me believe it's either software-related or
perhaps an issue with the on-board memory. I leaned toward software, but just
don't know at this point.

Hi Rich,
I'm assuming this is Lion? What kind of a machine and specs are you
working with? Have you tried toggling VoiceOver off and then on again? I'm
sorry to be coming in on this late. I've had family here all weekend, so I
have only been able to browse messages quickly.

Hi John:
What's happening is this. If I try to download a file, any file, Safari gets
strange. If I download something, I stop interacting with HTML content. I
interact with the toolbar. I click the download button. Immediately, I start

Hi Rich.
There is an option to empty the cache from the Safari menu. The shortcut
is option-command-shift-e. I missed your original message, so I am not sure of
what you are encountering.

ram, and to my way of thinking, that should be enough. When I go to download a
file from the Internet, Safari becomes extremely sluggish. This behavior is
quite recent. When I first got my wonderful new machi
