That's exactly what I was doing. But it wouldn't let me do it but today it did

the following for screen shot commands.
1. Save picture of screen as a file: Shift + CMD + NumberRow 3.
2. Copy picture of screen to the clipboard: CTRL + Shift + CMD + NumberRow 3.
3. Save picture of selected area
So I have a website that has pictures of written text on it, I need to take a
screenshot of it and send it to somebody. What is the key command to do this.
I've been able to do this with my screen locked but not with it unlocked can
