In the latest update to Web Kit, starting behavior that I reported on last
night has seem to resolve. Never mind.

Hey out there.
Any of y'all having an issue when you try to open Web Kit? I am. Every single
time I try to open Webkit, I get a nice little dialog which informs me that
Webkit failed to open correctly and presents me with a continue or cancel
button. Anybody else notice this? Just in
Thanks, Maybe I'll just keep using safari.

Webkit is the engine behind several browsers including Safari and
Chrome. What most people are referring to when they talk about webkit is
the 'nightly build' which has all the latest fixes and features that
will appear later in Chrome or Safari. It also has all the latest bugs,

Okay,
For those of you who use Web Kit and who have noticed the recent weirdness of
passwords fields saying "bullit" instead of clicking when text is typed in to
them, and, in the case of some sites where navigation by hot keys such as

Okay,
This is just too weird. Using Web Kit, (yes, I have the latest build), I went
to:
www.catholicmatch.com
and discovered that, although the page is layed out by heading, it's not
possible using Web Kit to navigate by headings using VO+command+h anymore. It
is still possible

In reply to myself, I have a further update. It gets stranger and stranger.
When Safari is set as my default browser, I can play Audible samples just fine.
I even did it with Web Kit but with Safari set as my default browser.
However, when I switch my default browser to Web Kit, I find
I don't get this. It seems I can play Audible.com samples again with Web Kit.
I didn't update it last night either. I have the latest version.

I have just noticed a very piculiar new behavior with Web kit and Audible.
When I went to rout the mouse to the word "sample" on a book, the mouse refused
to rout where I wanted it to go. With Safari, on the other hand, it did.
Consequently, It seems no longer possible to play Audib

Hi,
No, you're fine using Webkit with the reader as well. Just run the Webkit.app
when you have put it in your applications folder every time you go on the
internet. It's just like Safari, but some things are better because the engine
is continuously updated.

Does webkit have the Safari reader in it? Or is that an Apple add on? also,
some time back, I went to the webkit site, which I don't remember the url for
any more and got confused as to how to get it and replace Safari with it. I
gather it uses the Safari interface. Heard that on one of the Mac-
