Hi. I am using Alkaline batteries and have been for four months now. Recently,
I took them out of the keyboard, just to find out how well charged they were,
and according to my battery tester, they were still very, very full. While I
can't know for sure, I can't help but wonder if
They are just AA batteries so I assume you could use whatever ones you
want. I use the cheapie store brand ones and they last long enough that
it's hard to recall how often I change them. Probably twice a year or less.

Rechargeable batteries are best in applications where you would have
to replace alkallines often. In this case, the keyboard is a low power
device so alkalines are the best choice.

Hi. I'm wondering if people get longer life using the Apple bluetooth
keyboard with standard alkaline batteries, or, with rechargeable ones.
Also, bargain basement brands vs the big name batteries?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I bought the rechargeable batteries from Apple and have been using them in my
Apple wireless keyboard for a couple of years. I normally don't have to charge
them but every six months or so. They have worked great.
