Have you looked at the Fusion keyboard options to see if some of the
default options are causing problems? I don't see the sort of issues
you describe.
One example - in Preferences->Keyboard and Mouse->Mac Host Shortcuts
there's a bunch of default key combos that will be sent to OS X and

Can’t you pass control alt delete and other control alt combinations by picking
them from the list under the virtual machine section of the menu bar. Below
restart and shutdown there’s a list of commands you can send.
Just a possible suggestion all be it a pain.

control-alt are never very consistent. Sometimes when I use command-G it works
but what is very strange in my view is that sometimes I have to turn numpad
commander on and then control-alt and a numpad key work fine (tab
