Good evening.
I have a strange ITunes problem and hopefully someone can help out.
If anyone is familiar with audio book converter great. I have that program and
before today it was working just fine. I just tried to convert a book which it
needs ITunes to do so. The problem is whenever it opens
Again, thanx for the info; I unchecked all 3 checkboxes under the advanced
settings, and that seems to have worked. I tested it under 1 of the files on
my harddrive, and so far they seem to be staying where I left them.

Hi Ray,
Unchecking the boxes for "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and
"Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library" in the
advanced pane of your iTunes preferences doesn't work after the fact
once you've added the folders to your iTunes library with these

Tried that: but, that ain't no good. ITunes still does the same thing; and,
you can't rename stuff either.

While I don't mind iTunes keeping my stuff organized, I thought turning
off "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" and "Copy files to iTunes Media

That is what I fricken hate about ITunes. Its library thinks it knows better

cannot control it. I love the .m4a format for files, and, as a player, ITunes
is actually easy: but, the library sucks. ITunes is very l

Hi all,
Think I have it solved. Not sure what went wrong, but I'm seeing the rest of
my music now. Sorry for the post.

Hmmm, very interesting. I can do this, too, but if I want to navigate to a
specific column, I have to interact with the table. Otherwise, it'll just read
the entire entry to me.

Strange,
I don't need to interact with the table using the latest version of iTunes. I
can just go to the table, and use up and down arrow to navigate.

Hi Denise,
Arrow navigation does now work properly in Lion and the navigation through the
Music Library has also reverted to regular "no hesitation" as in previous
versions of iTunes.. In the Software Update notes pertaining to iTunes, it

Hi Christine
I have never seen this before. I guess you should try deauthorizing the mac.
Then make sure that the mac has the same itunes username as the windows
machine. Reauthorize and then sync the phone.
If you continue to have problems make an appointment at your nearest Apple
store
I realize that I should have given more information about what I did before
giving up in frustration the other night when I could not sync my iPhone. Some
of the suggestions I received I already tried, e.g., my first try was after

Last evening I was having trouble getting my phone to sync with itunes. The
problem is solved. There was a button I needed to click on using my screen
reader, and it wasn't easy to reach. I finally maneuvered to it, and it

At least for the latter part of your question, how are you launching
iTunes? If I recall correctly, holding down option while launching tells
iTunes to prompt for the library location so if you are using some VO
command and keeping the key down that might be the cause. The non-VO

Hi,
When I import songs in to my Itunes library from a cd, every second disc or so
after being prompted if I want to import the cd, and clicking yes, the disc
spins up, and I land back on the music sources table.
Nothing then happens the disc spins down and the only way I can eject the disc
