From what I read iOS 8 will run on iPhone 4s and later, iPad 2 and
later, all iPad minis and iPod Touch 5th Generation. Not a huge change
except we gather in the fall to mourn the death of the iPhone 4 smile.

They won't. That will be made available when ready. This is usual for
WWDC as it's targeted at the mainstream audience.

No, but they did mention the ability to add different keyboards so that
should be a boon for those who like to type different. In particular, it
sounds like the Flesky folks should be able to just provide a keyboard
plugin without requiring specific support to be compiled into every app.
