Hi,
Klango said a little while ago they were starting to make a Klango client for
Mac. Sadly, I don't know when that'll happen. They made it for Symbian, but I
will probably never understand why anyone would want it on their phone due to
the feature-rich environment.

Wow, that's unfortunate, as Klango is a great service. In a way I wish they'd
port it over to the mac side.

Lol,
There are alternatives to most if not all of these you know. But whichever
makes you feel comfortable. And I think that Klingo may be mac compatible.

Weird. My manager uses VMWare with XP and Jaws11 all day and it seems to
work fine for him on a MacBookPro. Just that initial sluggishness when
first firing up but then smooth sailing after that. Something else must
be wrong.

Why do you want to use Windows? Is there something that you're not able to
accomplish with Mac OS X? Just curious, perhaps it is something that the list
can help you with.

I haven't played much with Win7, just XP under fusion. Just after
booting it does seem to beat on my hard drive for a few minutes making
Jaws stutter, but that clears up shortly. So if you gave 2GB to Win7,
how much is left for OSX? 2GB?

As you discovered VMWare is pretty much the only accessible
virtualization package on the mac. Sun's VirtualBox doesn't have an
accessible GUI but it does have a command line interface, so it can
still be used that way. As far as speed and performance goes, Windows

It is completely inaccessible.
According to someone on the macaccess list it can be used once Windows has
been installed with it

That's not what I'm talking about. The app isn't accessible except to start
Windows or whatever vm you're using.
With Vmware fusion the application interface, settings etc. are all accessible.
I'm not talking about the vm itself which of course you need a screenreader
for.

What do you mean only to start windows? It's a virtualisation app. Of
course vo isn't going to be able to read the os your virtualising;
your going to have to use a windows screenreader.

It is completely inaccessible.
According to someone on the macaccess list it can be used once Windows has been
installed with it but only to start Windows.
