In terminal one can use the pdftotext program found at:
http://www.bluem.net/en/mac/packages/
The command to convert to html is:
pdftotext file.pdf -htmlmeta
The converted file has a html extension. The original files are retained
as pdf.
This can be put in a script with a loop to
choice, like PDF to HTML.

I'm wondering if there's a program to batch convert PDFs to html on the mac?
I'd need line spacing preserved, and navigation could be made into headings. Is
such a program available? I'd need it to be batch-capable because I have a

I wonder if it would be possible to use calibre, and the convert function in
terminal. Yes it should be possible to convert a folder of files at a time, but
I can not get it to work, because I do not know enough about terminal. I would
also be glad to get exactly the same to work.

Before my mactime , I had worked with linux and I made different bash-
scripts.
I had made also a script to convert multiple msword files and pdf-
files to text.
I used the consoleprograms wvText (for word) and pdftohtml an lynx
(browser onder console) to convert the htmlfile to text.
