You should be verbally prompted to start VoiceOver with command-F5. At
least, this is what normally happens. If you don’t get prompted, just press
command-F5 after about fifteen or twenty seconds of turning on the machine.
From there, you will have speech and you can follow the on screen prom
so can anyone tell me when I turn on my new mac, what happens? how do I set it
up? I am a totally new mac user. I dont know anything about the mac at all. I
need to be able to turn on vo. can I do that before setting the mac up? or do I
need sighted assistance to set it up?
