If you have sox installed you can do this from terminal:
sox filename.flac part1.flac trim 0 05:00
sox filename.flac part2.flac trim 05:00 10:25
This would generate two files from the source FLAC file. The first would

Does anyone know of a program that splits large files in to smaller files. I
am looking especially at Flac right now but something that could do different
formats would be great.
