try hitting command, shift ,A when you are on the log in page. This works for
me in High Sierra.

it says it in both the username and password fields. if I hear "bullet bullet
bullet" in the password field, is the password already there or do I need to
press down-arrow and enter?

username entry field, then arrow down once and press return. This should
