The SD card lock is a switch, it slides up and down, it doesn't push. You slide
it down to unlock. Are you pasting the txt file in the $VRTXT folder? Does the
file have a .txt extension?

Thank you for the info! Just to let you all know even my .txt file did not show
up on my SD card.
In an earlier message I stated that my Stream stated that there was no media on
the card. Well, now it does! I am keeping my fingers crossed on that one!

The .doc files need to be converted to .txt and be placed in the $vrtxt folder.
Also make sure your SD card isn't locked. There is a lock switch on the right
side of the card. It needs to be in the down position.

Oh, I failed to mention the file type I have been attempting to transfer! My
apologies!
I have tried to transfer a .doc file and a txt file. Neither appeared on the SD
card.

I select the file I want to transfer to the SD card copy it and go to the
appropriate folder on the SD card and open it then paste.
