also , I've got an dilema:
for this "paint' application, I did a small gui lib.
my question is more about usability:
should I make it look more like hildon?
My fear is that it may confuse the user,and make him
think that the gui will behave the same way hildon

i have a problem with the deb package.
The package has some dependencies, but the aplication installer does not
accept dependencies other than maemo
so i can install the package abiword if the libglade2 is not installed
for example.

Like I said, Xinput isn't in our X Server and most likely won't come
(since XInput is a huge deprecated mess, which would require lots of
work to get integrated to kdrive).
Instead, I've extended XCalibrate for this purpose. It can also be used
pretty neatly with SDL, I made a demo app for it too
