please where can I find your demo? also , I've got an dilema: for this "paint' application, I did a small gui lib. my question is more about usability: should I make it look more like hildon? My fear is that it may confuse the user,and make him think that the gui will behave the same way hildon do

Like I said, Xinput isn't in our X Server and most likely won't come (since XInput is a huge deprecated mess, which would require lots of work to get integrated to kdrive). Instead, I've extended XCalibrate for this purpose. It can also be used pretty neatly with SDL, I made a demo app for it too
