since today news from 01/01/1970 appear in the planet maemo RSS feed again.
Is that a problem with my reader (akregator) or do others see this as well?

You should always upload the .dsc file last. As this triggers the build.
In theory the autobuilder waits until the .dsc file is a certain age, but
somehow it doesn't seem to do that for you. (Maybe dput doesn't set it's
timestamp correctly?)
Dput has no way of specifying which file goes first
